Important information for participants of the ITF Future Nord

For all participants of the ITF Future Nord it applies that when entering the tournament facilities at the Hamburg Tennis Federation they have to present a negative Covid-19 test that is not older than 48 hours. Alternatively, the players can get tested on Friday evening (October 16 / 6 to 8 p.m.) and on Saturday (October 17/ 4 to 9 p.m.) on site at their own expense. The price for a test is 59 Euros. On the following days, there will also be the opportunity for tests, led by tournament doctor Dr. Volker Carrero. It should be noted that the evaluation of the test takes approximately 24 hours. 

Furthermore, only one accompanying person may be accredited per participant. This person must also submit a negative Covid-19 test. The second test on Wednesday (October 21st) is free of charge for the participants who are still represented in the tournament. Check-in at the Select Hotel Tiefenthal in Hamburg Wandsbek, the official players' hotel, is possible without a test result, provided that the player is traveling from a non-risk area.

“We ask all participants to understand these regulations. Our tournament can only take place under strict conditions in order to be able to guarantee the greatest possible health protection for everyone," tournament director Björn Kroll said on Thursday. The ITF Future Nord, which ends October 24th, will take place without spectators for safety reasons.
